Good News for Maui Vacationers

Some exciting news for Maui vacationers has come up recently which is well worth sharing.

Conde Nast travelers magazine picked Maui as the best island in the Pacific and it scored higher than any island in the world. Kauai was the next runner up. This was decided by the Reader's Choice awards, which means that people who have experienced top vacation island destinations around the world felt that Maui was the best, or as we say, Maui no ka oi! 25,008 readers participated in the survey.

Maui's Four Seasons at Wailea ranked number one for Hawaii's best resorts. The Four Seasons Hualalai on the Big Island and The Four Seasons Lodge at Keole on Lanai followed.

The other bit of news that we found exciting is that China's Hainan Airlines has received approval to begin service from Beijing to Hawaii. Service is slated to begin early next year and the U.S. Department of Transportation approved flights on a weekly basis. 

This privately owned airline currently flies from China to Seattle four times a week. Of course, Hawaii tourism officials are celebrating the approval of the airline's service to Hawaii.
