New Manager at Honua Kai's Aina Gourmet Market

A new market manager has been chosen at 'Aina Gourmet Market in the Honua Kai Resort & Spa in Lahaina. Erin Kelley has been chosen for the position and considering her extensive experience in customer service, restaurant and retail management, the market's co-owner, Louis Coulombe, sounds pleased with the choice.
Kelley is known for her fun-loving and outgoing personality, so she should fit in wonderfully. Before beginning at the Market, she worked at Hawaiian Village Coffee as a barista and at Warren and Annabelle's as a floor supervisor and server. Looking back to her first job, she worked at a family-owned deli at the young age of 14 and filling every position from cashier to prep cook to shift manager.
“Since my first taste of the restaurant service, I’ve been passionate about great food and culinary products. At ‘Aina, I’m excited to select the best green products Hawaii offers,” Kelley stated.
In 2004 she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Cambridge, Massachusetts' Lesley College. She specializes in education and working with autistic children which makes her especially well-equipped for the family activities at the 'Aina Gourmet Market.
The Market, a coffee bar, fine foods, wine and gift store, was opened this year by the same culinary crew behind Lahaina's Pacific'O and I'o restaurants. A strong emphasis is placed on using local resources in the interior design and stock so as to support the community.
