Wendy's Champions Skins Game in Kaanapali Maui

Maui is probably the best Hawaiian island for golf. The Wendy's Champions Skins game has been hosted here for many years thanks to Maui's challenging and beautiful courses. If you are going to play golf somewhere, whether for fun or to compete, it may as well be in view of stunning tropical ocean in balmy weather.

The winners of last year's game were Fuzzy Zoeller & Ben Crenshaw. This year's game will be contested on Maui's Royal Kaanapali Golf Course formatted for alternate shot two-man teams featuring the Champions Tour's best golfers.

Five Hall of Fame members will compete and Fred Couples is making his Champions Tour debut by joining them. This is the 23rd Wendy's Championship Skins Game and it will be held this month on the 16th and 17th. Hall of Fame members include Tom Watson, Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player, Ben Crenshaw and Nick Price.

ESPN will televise this tournament on Saturday, February 27th from 4-6p.m.

This is the third year that the Royal Kaanapali Golf Course is hosting the event. Conveniently, Kaanapali Beach is located nearby.
