Maui Culture and Natural Beauty

Maui Vacation Rentals

The two most important ingredients that maintain the tropical paradise of Maui are its natural beauty and its culture. Our thousands of yearly visitors sometimes prefer one over the other, but usually, it's a blend of the two. In fact, it may seem impossible to separate the culture from the physical attributes of Maui. After all, Hawaiian culture was shaped by the mountains, beaches, reefs, lowlands and waters of the islands.

As you will undoubtedly notice in our Kaanapali Beach vacation rentals, there is a distinct tropical and Hawaiian feel to the accommodations. That's because whether you are on a golf vacation, honeymoon or family getaway, we know you'll want to experience what has made Maui such a famous destination. That includes cultural Hawaiian styles within and outside the rental units, and a location that takes advantage of stunning ocean and mountain views, balmy tropical breezes, and incredible beaches.

If you are one of those that is particularly interested in Hawaiian culture, there are events and places you can visit during your stay that will further enrich your knowledge. One such event will take place on April 10th. Take a scenic drive from one of our Kaanapali condo rentals to Kepaniwai Park in Iao Valley, a destination that is well-known for its blend of natural beauty and culture.

Between 9a.m. and 4p.m. there will be a celebration of the many different flavors that mingled together to create the Hawaiian culture that we see on Maui today. There will be continuous performances by different culture and arts groups, of course. You can't have a decent celebration on Maui without performances! The same goes for food. It will be there and it will be ethnic (and ethnic Hawaiian food has a reputation for being quite delicious). There will be information booths and crafts. The best part is that it is free and should be fun for all ages. It can also be very educational for the little ones. If you need more information you can call (808) 878-1866.

Consider our Maui vacation rental studios or if you are coming with a larger group, we have one, two and three bedroom Maui condos. Find our contact information at the bottom of the page and let us know if you need any assistance. Thanks for reading this week! Aloha!
